Mystery Pepper

I was asking my mom if birds eye chiles were the ones she frequently uses, and she said yes but that in vietnam there is a pepper 3-5 times spicier. I dont know the english name but its vietnamese name is ot hiem, or dangerous pepper. Can anyone i dentify it? Also claims that my uncle eats them like candy and another relative eats several at a time......

The Chileman doesn't have a whole lot of Vietnamese peppers listed but this could be a possibility.

I had some similar - long thin, thin walled peppers in France at a thai restraunt... burned the living daylights out of me, but I ate the whole meal. They were the diameter of a store bought green bean iirc, with less meat on the inside.

heck if I know what they were called though.
