I will have some red morning glory (Scarlett O'Hara), probably some centranthus rubra, maybe some ornamental mustard, giant fennel, Rue possibly (I'm letting it set seed this year to try from seed - anyone ever tried it?), persicaria (the hybrid is 'Lance Corporal', but it may not come true from seed), pennyroyal, eupatorium maculata 'Gateway', eupatorium 'Chocolate' (I have some seedlings and they look just like their mother), columbine 'Nora Barlow'; I'm trying to save seed from acanthus mollis to see if I can grow it from seed; may have some hellebore (lenten rose); wild ageratum (butterflies love this stuff and it blooms purple and late, like in late August to Sept.), yellow coneflower; some starts of sedum 'Neon' (comes true from seed, too); achillea 'Moonshine', balloon flower, purple basil 'ruffles'; northern sea oats; I'll try to get some from my porcelain berry if the birds don't get them all; panicum 'Heavy Metal'; miscanthus 'Morning Light'; maybe hibiscus 'Texas Star' (my friend says they are easy to grow from seed); catmint; oh, and I hope to have cynara (ornamental artichoke). This is an absolutely gorgeous plant. I got it from PD and the leaves are about 2' long, jagged, silver, and the blooms will look like a purple thistle, but bigger. Is also is supposed to be easy from seed, and perennial in our zone 7a.

Anyway, if you find something you are interested in let me know, otherwise, I probably will not make a point to collect seeds from those plants listed, as it would take me forever and a day. I'll probably have some old-fashioned orange daylily divisions, too, because I absolutely have to thin out my patch. Blooms were plentiful, but painfully small this year - a good sign.

I do intend to start some O-P tomato seeds fermenting this weekend.

I have Black Beauty, grey, green, golden and green-striped zucchini. I have various tomatoes but I have not had as much time to devote to hand-pollinating and isolating. I will try but my full-time job comes first.
