It has a link to get a free permit online for small packs of seeds for personal use etc.I think you basically fill out a form and print it out.
From what I understand you have the form put on the pack your importing by the seed co.Send it to them with your order.There is a limit to the number of seeds per pack or species I think.50 seeds per variety I think.

I have heard stories about people having seeds confiscated. I have sent dozens of envelopes and received dozens from many countries ( mostly from individuals but also a few from seed companies)over several years and have bever had any confiscated.

The previous two seasons I have ordered from there and had no problems. They usually ship using their version of our USPS mail system. Since my order is already placed it's too late to send them a form. I ordered online. I'm going to take my chances since I've not had issues in the past.

I have ordered some seeds from India, and as it turns out they stated the same thing. I am still waiting as they say that my seeds are in transit but does not show up in tracking and it has now been over a month since my order was placed. Myself and a friend have split the cost of a rather large order, and he has emailed the sellers several times, but they still say "in transit". Keeping fingers crossed and hoping!!!!
