my sprouts

Okay, as I said, this is my year of experimentation. These are my first sprouts of the year using my heating mat and meager light. These are,in no particular order, Jalapenos,Serranos, and Butch T Scorps ! I'm hoping I can squeeze out the funds for that Hydrofarm grow light system this week !!

A simple shoplight and fluorescent tubes("daylight" variety) is sufficient lighting. Just make sure to keep the lights just above(an inch or so) the seedlings to prevent "stretching."

Christmas bell sprouts from Bill, Ottawapepper.. I planted 4 Christmas bell, 4 Bhut, 4 Butch T from Bill, And 4 red savina habanero I got from a friend. In 6 days 3 Christmas bells sprouts and first butch T tonight on day 7. I am not using a heat mat so only source of Heat is from 5 24w CFL's above the plants. Really hoping they all sprout and have high enough temps.
