I would not worry about root pruning if you are upsizing. Example if you are going from a 1 gallon to a 3 gallon. I would also not worry about soaking rooted plants in superthrive (unless you just really want to because it probably wouldn't hurt). You could just add some superthrive to your watering (seems easier to me).

I would fertilize routinely every two weeks. Weeks 1 and 3 with a half dose each of granular and weeks 2 and 4 with Spray and Grow.

I think the key is the routine and not necessarily the product you use. Fertilize with your choice of product available to you (not the super high middle numbers) but do not do it until they have woken up and rehydrated. You could give some epsom salt during the awakening but not full strength fert. That is my experience in my climate. Best of luck with them and when they bloom (they will) please post.

Do you recommend that I remove the old soil bound to the roots before repotting or just plant the rootball n old soil in new pot n soil?

Absolutely, loosen the roots up and whatever soil comes off comes off but I don't think its necessary to get it all soil.

Sounds like you are "potting up" instead of repotting.. Like Kms suggest.. i would just take the tree from the container and put it in a larger container. You can loosen the soil, but when potting up..not necessary to remove soil. You are basically just giving it more room to grow. Repotting is when we like to root prune.

I do use Foliage Pro and Pro TeKt. Right now i use it 1/4 tsp per gallon and then when the trees are in active growth period, i go full strength as per the instructions on the container.
