Frost Damage No Latex

I had some frost damage on the tips of my plumeria so I cut them back until I reached clean white wood. Only cut about an inch or two, but when I cut no latex/sap came out of the plumeria. Also the branches are starting to look wilted. It is in-ground and is about 3 feet tall. Is it dead or is there still hope?

Since you cut back to clean wood I would think it will be OK.

If you got clean wood, some wrinkling but no latex then I'm thinking maybe they are just dehydrated. You could also put a little bit of caulk or something to seal the end if you'd like, but I think they should bounce back. Good luck, let us know how they do!
