Hi Friends, I had a friend in the Peace Corps in Cameroon get some seeds for me from there. She said they are everywhere and that they are known as Piment. Does anyone know what these might be by another term. She says they are quite hot and so that ruled out Piment that I know as Hungarians. thanks for any info--Bob
OK, I was finally sent a picture of the pepper that is know as Piment in Cameroon, Pepe in English speaking areas. I don't know if anyone will be able to tell me what these are. When and if I get a flower form the seeds I planted, I will post them....but quite frankly, they are one of the slowest peppers I've ever had to get started. Although, I have some Hawaiian seeds this year--Waialua, and they seem that Christmas will never come also. Anyway, the other thing about these Piment, is they have big round leaves, about the size of a silver dollar....(.is that an anachronism???) So any help will be appreciated----Bob
