Yellowing leaves often means too much water.

I agree too much water, or when you transplanted did you harden them off first? The leaves could be sunburnt which can appear off white/yellow I did that 3 yrs ago and it stunted/shocked them for a few weeks then they resumed growing.

Yes, I agree with tsheets ahd habjolokia. Without even knowing the leaves are turning yellow, just describing your watering schedule says "way too much moisture". It is hard to say exactly how often you should water since I don't know what kind of soil you are using and how well it drains but your plants are probably big enough now where you can let them tell you when it is time for a drink. The yellowing leaves are a classic signal of too much water.
