Christmas Palm (adonidia)

I moved to a new place and have 2 Christmas Palms
that haven't been taken care of very well before. I put
some general palm fertilizer into the soil and it seems
to be okay. The question I have is that there is a fair
amount of moss on the trunk and I wonder if I should
take the moss off, or is it no problem to keep the moss
on the trunk.

I don't think moss will pose any problems for the palm. If there is moss (not spanish moss, but true mosses and lichens type of stuff) then the palm might be staying a little too moist so check to make sure sprinklers aren't directly hitting it.

Thanks for the information. It might just be a little
too moist, we've had a lot of rain lately. I'll see how
it does, hopefully it can get stronger with the fertilizer.
