Moni, Different varieties mature to different colors, so it helps if you know what variety you have because then we can tell you what color it should mature to.

If you are growing the one most commonly grown here, which is Brown Turkey/Texas Everbearing, it matures from green when unripe to a golden color when ripe. Also, the figs soften up some as they ripen, and when you grasp one in your hand to pull it from the tree, it will be easy to remove it from the tree if it is ripe but not if it isn't ripe. Be sure you don't pick them green because they do not continue to ripen after they are picked.

Fresh figs are so yummy. It is hard to believe Fig Newtons even contain figs because I just don't taste the resemblance there.

Awesome Moni. I have found another one my sticks has fig leaves. I didn't give up on them and patience paid off. How many years did yours take?
