It looks like everything labeled takil comes from rarepalmseeds.com it turns out that theyre not takils and now not even hardy?
Message from a nursery owner
they tested takil but not from my seeds
takil is a true palms but some dealers just sold plain old fortunei but that is not my bussiness
the takil we have is not so cold hardy as fortunei and grow slower , this is what we found out here in our fields
fortunei and wagnerianus are the onley palms that survives holland winters withoud protection
thank you
turtile
