I noticed you have a lot of flowers planted next to your palms.I also planted flowers next to my trachys, I was not sure if I was harming the trachy roots by doing so. The yard looks great!!! Hope one day I will have enough skills to have a yard like that. Enjoy Robert

I am a variegation nut...did that castor come from seed or did you buy it with the variegation showing already? if it was from seed im planting every seed I got next year!. love the yard it has a great feel as well as looking maintained.

Great pics! Sorry to hear about your trachys. My unprotected trachy made it out of the winter okay, but my protected pindo palm died. In early spring it looked like it might have been able to pull through, but it was definitely a gonner.
Where did you get your new trachys? They look awesome!

miketropic It was from seed, unfortunately seeds from this castor bean won't be variegated.
