Hello everyone, I tried using the search feature and didn't come up with much in regards to the question I have. I'm hoping you guys can give me some advice.

I have two plumeria cuttings in one large pot, they were given to me about 2 1/2 years ago. They have done pretty well, one of them even flowered for the first time this Spring. I would like to get them in the ground, but I'm not sure about a couple of things.

First, my mother-in-law (who gave me the cuttings) has two large trees in her yard, both of which ended up growing VERY crooked. Is this just par for the course with plumeria? If so, I want to take that into account before I choose a spot.

Second, since I have two cuttings in one pot (maybe I shouldn't have done that, but I didn't know what I was doing, lol), do I need to plant them separately? In other words, can I just take the contents of the pot out and plant the whole thing in the ground, or am I going to have to separate the cuttings and plant them in different spots? I've heard it's important not to disturb the roots too much, so having to separate the cuttings seems like it might be dangerous. They are only about 12" apart though, and I don't know if it's possible to grow two trees that close together.

Again, any advice would be greatly appreciated!!
