Which mix, he has some different mixes listed. I am really interested for my adeniums and soon to have plumeria.

You are Much better off buying the components or like components locally and mixing yourself. Great stuff or not $18 for 5 quarts is stupid.

I mix my own & its been performing amazingly well. It's Under a buck a gallon, can't beat it for quality or price!

But hey, if you've found something that works for you, make it happen!

For Mike 055:

He refers to the mix as "60%-40% and goes on from there. For larger plumeria that are well-rooted in pots, I use this mix just as it is. For rooting or younger plumeria in 1 or 2 gal. I request a change to only 10% bark and an increase to 20% perlite.

No, it is not cheap, but to try and find all the material needed is almost impossible and twice as expensive once all is counted up. I feel it is worth it for my plumeria. Stupid or not!

Plumygirl - hey, whatever works for you, that's all that matters! I think the ratio is great!

As far as mixing your own, it's like buying in bulk....you may spend more up front, but you save in the long run!

Check your local Walmart. Purple bag. Timberline. Pine bark mulch. I just saw some at my grocery store and at Walmart. Small .. What you would like..
