Yep, Bhuts are long season plants.

Yep, I have several varieties that I planted at the same time as some Trinidad Butch T's and the Butch T's are much shorter than the other varieties although they are fuller too.

LOL - You want slow try the 7 Pot Douglahs.

I started a bunch of seeds (7 Pot, Christmas Bell, Twilight, Trinidad Scorpion Butch T all at the same time (mid to late January) and a lone Bhut about two weeks later.

Most are looking really nice. I actually had to move the Xmas Bells, they got too big and the Twilights aren't far behind. The 7 Pot are still the runts by a good margin, the Bhut caught up to and surpassed the 7 Pots a week or two ago.

FWIW - I started my Bhuts on 3/14 last year and had a bunch of peppers by mid August.

With bottom heat, superhots grow much faster. I've started all my peppers at the same time and used a heat mat at lower temperature after germination and the superhots have just as many leaves as the others. The main difference is height. The superhots stretch very little until they get outside.
