canary yellow

so here is the 1st year for my in the ground Canary Yellow to throw up an inflo....confooosed , so I guess that is what the leaves are for? Does anyone know if Cstar re-named this one too or was it created by them and it is their name? roxanne

wow thats a crazy inflo. I have seen them turn into a branch but never do both.

the blooms are along at the same time as new leaves on the inflo.

it is a very pretty yellow along with a nice citrus scent.

it has a very "cupped" bloom. Glad I have it in my collection from C star nursery. Wonder if there is an AKA name???? roxanne

That's lovely, Rox! I love pink buds that open to yellow flowers! Gladys O'Neal is close to opening for me and her buds are bubblegum pink.

The flower looks a bit like my Veracruz Lutica, but I don't think the stripe on mine was as pink.
