rocoto 'self-incompatible' ?

I've just bought yellow rocoto seed (note i'm in the southern hemisphere- early, not late!) and read conflicting info on whether I need more than one plant. Have people been fine/not with one?

While I'm at it, once and for all, will ALL chillies cross with each other and will ALL cross with sweet peppers?

I will have annum, frutescens and pubescens.

I promise I have tried to find out myself, but I've ended up more confused than before!

OK. www.fiery-foods.com says that pubescens will not cross with anything, but it seems the rest will hybridise to some extent. And some crosses infertile one way but not the other...now's as good a time as any to get my head round plantbiology/genetics!
I'm still confused on the sweet pepper thing...all except rocoto cross with them right?
My garden's going to look like a solanum prison.

Rocoto self-pollinate just fine. The crossing chart is in the FAQ.

Ditto. Rocotos do self-pollinate. I have a lone yellow Rocoto this year (3rd season) and it's podding quite well all by its lonesome.

I can't really fit more than one rocoto so that's a relief.
