NOT SO!
You can not make a pepper hot simply by pickling it. What's HOT to some may not be to others.

Greek Pepperoncini is considered the most pungent and popular of this variety, used extensively in salads or at salad bars.
Early this year, someone from this forum sent me an e-mail requesting Greek Pepperoncini seeds. I sent the person the remainder of a packet I purchased from TGS.
After growing them last year, eating them fresh and pickled, the heat was moderate at best and didn't satisfy my palate.

woof, I'm from the St Catharines area as well, and have been looking for these peppers as well. Can you please tell me where you found them. Thanks
