second palm .. help please

The second one looks like a Foxtail, Wodyetia bifurcata. The first I'm not sure. Looks a bit like a Kentia, Howea forsteriana, but maybe not.

Would agree with tropic on the ID if the second is a "Foxtail they will easily get 20/30 feet tall and the sanseverias are very invasive given the right climate .
Note that you are in Italy maybe they react differently there?? Interesting planter was it built for that purpose?? gary

The planter was build for a palm so yes was on purpose .
Anyway gary those palms are not in italy but in the philippines .

So you thunk that those palms will likely damage the fence and the planter ?

The first one shouldn't affect the fence, especially if it is a Kentia. The Foxtail will blow that concrete block box apart. The trunk at the bottom will become quite thick.

Gary i know about the sansevieria actually its a very nice plant , i bought like a couple 2 years ago , and now i have so many of them , but it's fine i still have so many places to flll with plants ..

I'm not great at tropical palms ID's, but if that's in the Phillipines, I would guess it's not a kentia, although it looks like it. My understanding is kentias don't do well in high humidity which is why you see them in Cali but not Florida.

This board is generally a mixture of backgrounds with almost more of an emphasis on cold hardy palms. The IPS board has a lot more guys from all over the world, the vast majority of which are in the tropics. If you find out let us know.
