Thornton's Mardi Gras Time Lapse video

Hi Everyone,
Yesterday I set up a camera to time lapse a full day on a Thornton's Mardi Gras flower that was opening. Its neat to see the flower come out of it spiral bud. Enjoy.

Thanks everyone. Glad I could share it and that you enjoyed it.

I used a Gopro Hero 2. which is a very versatile little sports camera considering its small size. I want to see if the PSA would let me set it up at the clear lake plant sale to time lapse the stampede.

Dave, it was about a 10 hour span. Initially i set the camera for an image every 10 seconds which resulted in 3,600 images. The first video was very smooth but also took minutes to watch so I re-rendered at about 1 every minute which resulted in a 25 second clip.

Good job! We don't have the time to watch a bloom develop so it was great that you gave us this look. Hope they let you film the stampede. Peg
