It is a little chilly here, with an overnight low of 19 on our front porch thermometer and 20 at our Mesonet station. We had a really heavy white frost on everything. (It looked pretty in the early morning sunlight....all glistening and sparkling and such.)

We're supposed to warm up to 52, which still feels a little chilly to me but then tomorrow we're supposed to be 62, which isn't bad.

We were in the 80s on Mon., Tues. and Wed., so the weather now feels really cold by comparison. I knew the 80s wouldn't last forever though.

I wonder how many more days (maybe I should have said months) will pass before we have a high in the 80s again?

The Black Ghost finally visited last night. Quite a gardening season for me, almost 10 months as I started tomatoes and peppers from seed on 1/28/10.

Also I was pleasantly surprised when reading the Totally Tomatoes catalogue last week to find out that the College 64L pepper I grew is an OP. I just happened to have 3 nice red ones on the plants so, I've got them drying to save seed and will have a few seed to share in the January seed swap. Go Pokes!

Don't forget, y'all, that ESPN Game Day will be covering Bedlam live tomorrow so the rest of the country can enjoy seeing how much we Oklahomans love our football teams.
