Straightening it out will not reverse whatever it is that is causing this.

There is no information provided in your post regarding where you are or planting conditions.

How is soil moisture? Is there persistent wind in its location? Is it planted in the shade and growing into sunlight? Not enough info to offer any clues as to what is wrong with your palm.

We are in the desert, between Phoenix and Tuscon, Arizona. Soil is very hard and we get strong winds usually coming from the South West. The tree is on a drip system.

Tree gets afternoon sun, and is leaning to the afternoon sun..We are not having this problem with any of our palms or trees.

You may not be getting enough water or you may have an air pocket in the soil which would cause it to not get enough water. For air pockets see my note in this thread.

It is very common for these palms to lean when they have an air pocket and start to suffer from too little water.
