JJ's at Home Depot

On a whim, stopped by HD Glendale today and they had a new shipment of JJ's. Picked up another California Sunset, a 3 tip 3 inflo one so now I have 2, and also a 3 tip, 1 inflo Melody. The tag says the Melody flowers will get to 4", this first bloom is 2 1/2" across. Saw an anthurium, so picked up of those also. A fellow on FB showed pics of one he was growing in water only and it was flourishing so I thought I'd give that a try.

Gorgeous! I was tempted by Melody at a local nursery but no open blooms. How does it smell?

I'm not the best at describing scents, but I would say, at least this afternoon when I got it home, that it had a traditional plumeria scent with a hint of fruit. Very pleasant. The tag says it has "deliciously scented 4" flowers", so perhaps that refers to a fruit type smell.

Ha! I'm terrible at scent descriptions as well.
