Spindle as houseplants

For those of you looking for one easy palm for indoor growing, one of my favorites is the Spindle Hyophorbe verschfeltii. Should be more widely available than they are.
(Nearly extinct in the wild btw.) It is a very robust, tropical looking species that does not mind the lower humidities of winter homes in the North, and tolerates more than a few missed waterings. It does have two potential negatives.
They get big and need their space. I have winter sun, but they also do superbly with artificial. May be my imagination, but these Southern Hemisphere natives seem to grow faster over Winter. But, if you put them outside in the growing season, watch it! They burn severely if exposed to direct sun unless acclimated.
