The problem with the habanero could be that it is growing too many peppers and cannot support that many so it is ripening them off early. That would be my guess.

Depending on your growing zone, you should probably snip the first wave of blooms/pods. It will relieve the plant to put more energy into growing its size and root system before putting a lot of effort into growing fruit.

However, if you are too far north, you might have to let them go now so they can ripen before the season ends.

If I had to make a guess on the habanero, I'd say you're still looking at winter pods. Pods that set when its cool (like 60s-70s) tend to stay very small. The ones that set and grow in 80s-90s will get full size, so don't worry about it. The next round that sets should be full size.

I generally don't remove early fruits from a pepper plant unless it starts going overboard. One or two on a smaller plant is okay, but when it starts trying to set a half dozen I usually step in and tell it enough is enough.

Yeah I just need to cut them, there are probably 50+ ripe baby habs on it.
