My guess is a type of Cayenne. Definitely not a scorpion variety. It could be one of several other varieties as well. Someone else may chime in with a different ID.

No idea what it is, but I did see chileplants.com sells scorpions. Unfortunately you need to order 12 plants for shipping, and you need to order soon before they are done with orders. Never ordered from them before so I can't vouch for them.

Agree with Bruce, especially since Cayenne's are so common in nurseries.

Personally i'd head back to the nursery to see what they are carrying. You can narrow the list of candidates that way too.

Assuming the Nursery is still selling pepper seedlings...

Edit: Madcat, Chiliplants.com has been around for years, and comes highly recommended by nearly everyone, I have yet to hear a horror story about them. They may have stopped shipments for the season though.

Another choice for plants is Susan Welsand aka The Chilewoman.

Ships in multiples of six. She had several scorpions, but might be out by now. Also, she must complete shipping by end of June, so you might want to hurry.
