heuchera - for a sunny spot

heuchera / heucherella / tiarella and such

in my potager - i would like to plant heuchera and their cousins

i have room for and need eight varieties - a bit of morning and afternoon shade - but and i mean but - noon, mid-day is the hot southern zone 7 sun

please help if you can

I have only grown them in fairly heavy shade (in the north). I wonder why you aren't considering something that likes more sun. I know some of them do like more sun than I have for them, especially the purples and golden colored ones, but it seems like you have many more choices than Heuchera. You might want to ask this in the perennials forum.
