is it too late

I started a wildflower meadow 5 years ago. Usually when you plant seeds, the first year has a few flowers and each year after, you have more. For me, the first couple years were fantastic and now clover is taking over. I admit, I have been neglectful because I was putting in lots of flower gardens, ponds, and a veggie garden. But I didn't expect the dismal results I have had this year. My flax is all but gone. The coreopsis has mostly died out. The asters, coneflowers, blackeyed susans and gaillardia are hanging in there. But now what? Do you think I can get in there and get rid of the clover then replant or it is too late and hopeless? Any advice on the easiest, most practical way to get rid of the clover will be most apprecitated. Thank you.

Cheryl
