Our Prairie (oak savanna) area is 5 years old this summer. One of the plants that we originally put in, as plugs, was leadplant. I do not know anything other than that. The plant that we have resembles leadplant in every way except flower color. Instead of blue purple flower spikes, we have ugly, yellow-green-whitish flowers, form follows the amorpha canescens or fruticosa but the color is way off. I have searched the net to find our white flowered variety but come up empty handed. Any ideas? or do I have a completely different plant with lead plant foliage and form?
Thanks, Helen.
