Oh those are too funny! I am a happy gardener today. A friend from dh's work stopped by and saw all the zucchini and eggplants on the counter and asked if we grew them. I said yes and please, take all you want. She was so happy to get some since since lives in town without a garden. A win-win! I have counter space again and she has fresh veggies. Perhaps, I can conjure an ode to squash from this.

very funny - but makes me feel inadequate.....I'm not getting any zuchinni this year - and I planted early.....

sigh! not sure what went wrong - no disease - just no fruit.

I mulched with mushroom compost, and it seems growth has picked up - so maybe next week....
