Oh, she's so... Divine! Mine doesn't show signs of inflo on any of her 3 tips. We just transferred her in a bigger pot; she had really big roots.

I'm looking to add "Devine" to my collection soon. That's a very nice picture of your bloom.

The only ones I saw at JJ's were in 5 gal... I'd rather start with a cutting...

Thanks Laura for heads up on the thirsty nature. How big/small does this one get? Next in line to bloom from the Lowes frenzy are 2 Thumbelinas I got. All of them seem to be in a mix that is very fast draining and they wilt if not enough water. Yours all look so fabulous, sure wish we had retired on a bigger lot... :-) roxanne

Roxanne, if your plants are in a big enough pot, you can pop them out and put a big sponge in the bottom of the pot, which will hold water and keep your plant moist for a longer period of time.

kayjones, what an idea. All of these JJ's are in the 1 1/2 gallon size thing that was not the smallest container at Lowes...I will have to try that. mahalo, roxanne

I have 2 Divines. It's a very reliable bloomer and makes such a pretty well branched tree. She sure does like a lot of water though. A very thirsty one.

Roxanne, when I read you saying about Divine not having much of a scent, I went out to check mine (I remember it having a nice scent). It still does.

I had a first TBred Tracy open up a couple of weeks ago, and the first flower had absolutely no scent. Nothing. After that, though, subsequent flowers all smelled like chocolate. So maybe your Divine will pick up a scent with later flowers?

nice! my first Divine bloom was this year as well. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be branching, and it is already a little tall I think for what is supposed to be a a compact grower... but we'll see!

the 3rd flower has opened on Divine and still no scent what so ever and mine does not have near the color of yours. Mine looks JUST like the photo of it I posted....darn, roxanne

So I now have this many blossoms open on my Divine...there is now a mild nice scent, but certainly not overwhelming. Pretty small flower though. roxanne

I went to JJ's on Saturday... I asked about a Divine in a 2gal, and the guy there (man.. I can't remember his name... sheesh) took me all over looking in the different greenhouses. It was pretty cool looking around. I took my brother that works in Landscaping with me Landscaping, and he was really interested in the Palms and Bird of Paradise there as well. So it was lots of fun

I got my Divine in a 2 Gal... no blooms though. So I'll have to drool over the pics you all are sending for now, and we'll hope for the best next season.

I'll be-potting it today (Monday). :)

The man who helps John on Saturday is named Alan and he knows a huge amount about plumerias. He is extremely helpful, as is his wife. They have wonderful dogs too.

Ah yes... Thanks for reminding me. He was very nice and helpful. And the dogs followed us all around. We had fun.

Mine just bloomed too. Last year it had a mild scent but this year i cant really smell much.

Love the dwarf habit but its getting way taller than my dwarf pink Singapores.
I think I read somewhere that once it gets a few feet tall it will start branching like crazy. Is that true?

Might be the difference between Miniature (the Divine) and Dwarf (the Singapore). I remember asking the other day at JJ's about the Divine being Miniature....

I'll be looking at the Singapore for myself one day....
