Only a couple of varieties available. A primary flowering in spring with intermittent flowering throughout summer. Smaller than the common or French lilac and with smaller flowers as well. Also not as fragrant, at least to my nose. And yes, they sell well in my area. If using as stock plants, make sure you get one that is not patented.......AFAIK, 'Josee' is the only one.
