Soooo, my little one asked if she could go get me a flower from the p look plumerias outside. Sounded cool...right? Until she brought the whole plant minus the pot, dirt, roots, or a flower inside. However, I got to looking at it and did not look like it rooted like the others. I did not take really good photographs yet, but it looks like it rooted further up the stalk than normal. Also the bOtto portion and center has rotted to the bulge at the bottom of the cutting.

So now I am wondering if I should recut, callous, and pot... or pot the way it is?

The effected cutting is the one on the left. The other one I managed to gI've a bad sunburn.

Advised would be greatly appreciated.
