Derrick doesn't pack very well and a couple of mine broke too. I removed the broken tips. I'd just plant them.

I have seen partial breaks even more substantial than this heal up and leave only a scar...if you still have most of it intact, try taping it up like a graft and giving it some time...keep an eye on it though for rot in case something begins to get funky in there. Or if you have a latex sealant like DAP or the like, push it back to it's original position and seal it up.

Did you get these from a piece of paradise? Derrick right? He has sent me quite a few cuttings. Very nice ones.

Yes...these came from Derrick...looks like yours did as well. I purchased a few cuttings and will hopefully have them rooted by winter. My first batch I managed to kill a few. These things have really helped me with my OCD...over the years.
