First time post, My neighbor has 150' border of mature 15 year old Arborvitae that paralell my driveway with a 15' space in between. In this space I have one ten year old Black Locust and a smaller 4-5 year. This all gets full sun sun up to sun down, facing due south. This spring my neighbor showed me in the area nearest my trees that their Arborvitae's were thinning out. They insist that my Black Loucust are strangling there trees & want me to cut mine down. I don't believe this is true. My trees are the last to leaf out in spring & the first to lose there leafs in fall,and are not a dense shade tree in summer. Any suggestion to make everyone happy?
