Take cuttings of firm new growth apply 0.1% IBA (Rooting hormone) stick in well drained water & MIST,,,, bottom heat will help

really, lipother!!!! yiorges-z5il was trying to be helpful, yet comments like yours are uncalled for!!! use your coconut well, before you slap y's wrist!

I've had better luck with hardwood cuttings at least 3/8 in. thick, with all of the leaves removed. Otherwise the same, except for misting.
