I'm gonna give it a try. My grandmother could practically get roots from a leaf. I took cuttings from my snowball viburnum today, dipped them in Rootone and stuck them in a pot filled with potting soil and set it in my garage beside a window as an experiment. We'll see. But I'm going out per your suggestion, takng some cuttings from a red camelia and I'll 'report back' in a few weeks!

Camellia has never rooted in a vase when I've had them in the house. They can be grown from cuttings but are not the easiest. Can take 3 months to root. Google 'Camellia propagation' for instructions.
