I wasn't sure where to post this and being you guys are the pros I thought I would beseech your help.

I have a schefflera in a wooden 1/2 beer keg barrel, it has been in this barrel for years and the other day, we noticed the telltale signs of termites, the mud tunnels, sand tunnels....

How do I eliminate these beasties without distroying my plant? I have thought of rolling the plant on its side and carefully removing the plant out of the barrel/soil and repotting but wasn't sure about the termites and what that would do.

Any advice would be most appreciated!
