Hi all-

I was re-potting my loooong philodendron earlier today and accidentally broke a 3-foot piece off of one of the stems. I know it's possible to propagate philodendron by taking small cuttings, but is it possible to take this long a piece, re-root it in water, and put it back in the potting mix in the new larger pot and have it survive?

Any help would be appreciated.
