I bought perlite (number 4?) to root my cuttings in.
But someone told me that it's a too big particle size, and used more for potting mix and not for cuttings.
and that i need a finer grain prelite.
is there a real difference, or is the same perlite is used for potting mix and for rooting cuttings?

if i need a finer perlite can i grind it in a blender or something like that to make it smaller particle size?
