Hello everyone. Last year I bought a new home. Throughout the year I started noticing some of the beautiful plants that graced my yard. One of them is the Harry Lauder Walking Stick. This is a beautiful plant. No doubt about it. But the unusual thing is that it has different looking sticks coming out of the ground right near the root. Are these part of the plant or some other plant growing? I guess that is why its called a walking "stick". Are these normal, or should i cut them off? They are getting huge? Any assistance would be helpful
