Well, since the Arnold Arboretum opening is listed... with the political climate at Harvard sounding so daunting, this might be the better job. And you don't need a pHd. Don't know about salary, but Wing Haven Gardens and Bird Sanctuary in Charlotte NC is an amazing place. Three acres of beauteous, bird-filled southern charm in one of the city's oldest neighborhoods. Never have to work in the snow (well, hardly ever.) Huge corps of volunteers, loyal donors, heirloom plants. Jeff Drum is the Garden Curator there. Check it out at www.winghavengardens.com
