I think Chalk Hill is great! Great selection, great plants, great service - I have a master plan to add 1 Chaulk Hill clematis to my garden each year. They do a great job packing plants for shipping, too.

In our recent cold snap, my MerryGro clematis froze--I forgot to bring it in- I was so busy ferrying my bare root roses in and out! They all made it.

I ordered from them last year and I got superb plants packed amazingly well.

I agree! I've had nothing but good experiences with them. Never had one die out, and they thrive on seeming neglect. :)

Ack. I fell victim to a spell of C.H.A.D. (Compulsive Horticultural Acquisition Disorder) and just ordered 4 more Clematis from Chalk Hill. Like I need more. They carry such interesting varieties--how could I not order?
