I had a hydrangea cutting show the first signs of roots. Apparently very foolishly, I took it out of the sand and put it in a small pot with potting soil. I did not water it because the potting mix was already damp. I misted it a few times but I did not cover it with anything. This morning I woke up and it was drooped over. I think I killed it. When I found it wilted this morning I put a jar over it to contain humidity.

I figure it is probably a goner, but I wanted to see if anyone had any tricks that might save it.
