I bought a tabasco pepper plant and it's doing great. It's getting bushy and has a lot of peppers on it. Everything I have read about tabasco peppers says that they turn red when ripe. But the little card that came with the plant said that it produces yellow-green fruits. Are there tabasco peppers that don't turn red when ripe? I'm planning on using these for hot sauce. I'd prefer them to be red, but it doesn't really matter as long as they are ripe.
