John Scheepers Kitchen Garden Seeds has excellent, fast service. I ordered and received the seeds in a week. They are in CT and I am in VT. Considering we had a major snow storm that shut down the highways, a pretty good turn around. In the past their seeds have had excellent germination. Their catalogue has old friends as well as quite a number of things from Europe. It is fun to read as well, with gardening tips by Barbara Damrosch, and cooking tips and recepies mixed in with the copy. You don't want to recycle it!

Also this company sells bulbs from holland, the seeds is a newer venture for them. I have had excellent service (a phone call apologizing that they would not ship such and such because my hort zone was too cold and they feared the bulbs would not survive! Who does that I ask you!?) They sell larger quantities wholesale as Van Elgen. I've ordered from them as well.
