I ordered seeds from Pinetree in late December and received them just after the New Year. I only paid the standard shipping charge.
If you look on page 87 of the catalog, there is a yellow section in the lower right hand corner about spring planting items on pages 81 through 87, glad bulbs, potato tubers, garlic, onions, etc. and below that Pinetree explains the added shipping cost.
