I just purchased the new model 990 and 9635 pruners. The products are great, as I expected them to be, but I'm writing to comment about the package. I really apreciate the fact that it was so easy to open. I hate it when I have to use a tool, to get to my tool!

They made this package easier fo the consumer, rather than the retailer. I realize that when they make the package an ordeal to open, then the consumer can't handle it before they get it home. I feel it is a disrespect for my time when a package is designed to take 15 minutes to open, if you have a box cutter handy.

This is one of my pet peeves. The consumer doesn't get to compare this aspect of a product, untill they get it home. Hooray for a company that respects the consumer!
