John, as you know, photos just don't do these gardens justice. Like the Grand Canyon et al, you just have to BE there! Has visiting these sites inspired you to do anything different in planting, designing, etc. your own garden?

I get inspired every time I travel and then realize when I get home that I don't have the chateau, manor house, Cotswold cottage, etc. that makes the whole thing so incredibly beautiful. Sigh. A small retirement cottage outside Atlanta just isn't the same thing at all...
