My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.
I am going to relocate my Moruga Scorpion to a larger container. I watered it today and I'm waiting for cooler temps (after sun goes down). Is it okay to transplant even though the soil just got watered? This may be a dumb question..I dunno.
Stoney, when I move plants to bigger buckets, I like the soil dry. I have noticed that when it is too wet, roots and soil tend to pull out easier. If it is totally root bound and moderately wet, then I don't believe this will be an issue.
Agree with Ronny. Let it dry out over the next few days. Besides, this weather is not the time to transplant. Even after it cools down some and you do the transplant, water thoroughly and maybe put on the porch for a few days.
Third on both statements above. I like very dry soil for transplant. It comes out of the original pot easier, and doesn't tend to destroy fragile roots on the exterior with added weight and 'stickiness' (to the original pot). After it's in it's new home just soak it nicely as Kevin stated.
